How are the SR-DVM600U and SR-DVM700U different?

The primary differences are:

  • SR-DVM700 has larger hard disk (250GB vs. 40GB)
  • SR-DVM700 has the ability to record native DV to the hard disk (allowing you to clone a DV tape by using the HDD as intermediate storage)
  • RS-232 control interface
