What video system (PAL or NTSC) I can record with the GY-HM100U?

PAL (576i) and NTSC (480i) are the analog systems used for standard definition television in most parts of the world.  The GY-HM100 records only high definition digital signals, and therefore is neither PAL nor NTSC.  The camera supports various recording modes in  both 50Hz (for PAL countries) and 60Hz (for NTSC countries.)

The GY-HM100 does provide a composite video output--a downconverted standard definition version of the HD signal being recorded or played back.  When recording HD in one of the 60Hz modes (59.94i, 59.94p, 29.97p, 23.98p) or one of the 50Hz modes (50i, 50p, 25p) the downconverted output signal will conform to either NTSC (60Hz) or PAL (50Hz).
