D-ILA Projectors

What Picture Mode will give me the most accurate picture? I want to recreate the image quality that Hollywood producers see in their screening rooms.

For projector models that have the THX feature we recommend using “THX” Picture Mode. THX certified projectors are pre-calibrated in the THX picture mode to exacting THX specifications. The THX mode pre-selects many calibrated projector settings such as Color Temperature (D65), Gamma (2.2), and Color Space (Rec. 709 HD) and will give you HD calibration level performance “right out of the box”. When using the THX picture mode you will experience calibration settings like those used in professional production and viewing environments. For models that are not THX certified, we recommend setting this projector to “Natural” Picture Mode, “Standard” Color Profile, “6500K” Color Temp, and “Normal” Gamma for best overall performance.
